The appointment system has changed. Your call will now be triaged. The Doctors have instructed the Receptionist to ask specific questions, please respect this and be honest when speaking to our highly trained staff. We cannot assess your needs without this information and without it, it may take a little longer in waiting for an appointment time.
If you wish to speak to a Doctor about more than one issue please advise the Receptionist in order that more time can be allocated for the call back.
The surgery is currently experiencing a large number of telephone calls on a daily basis and we would ask for your patience when contacting the surgery. If your call is to discuss a routine issue it would be appreciated if you could telephone between 8.30 am to 10.00am. This will assist us to accommodate as many patients as possible.
Emergency issues can be telephoned through at any time.
Vaccination is the most important thing you can do to protect your community against serious illnesses. When enough people get vaccinated, it’s harder for a disease to spread to those who can’t have vaccines.
We are pleased to advise that the Practice commenced the roll out of the COVID-19 vaccination programme during week commencing Monday 11th January. We will be working through a priority list set by the Department of Health with the first priority group being those aged 80 and over. You will be contacted by the Practice to advise when you should attend the vaccination clinic, therefore please do not contact the surgery about getting the vaccine.
The clinics will be held in Banbridge Hockey Club, Havelock Park, Lurgan Road, Banbridge BT32 4LU .
The Practice is indebted to the Hockey Club for facilitating this programme. Their assistance means that we can deliver the vaccinations in an appropriate setting while continuing to operate our normal services from our Practice sites in Loughbrickland and Poyntzpass.
